Personal data protection

The personal data provided by the user are protected in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/2003 “Code regarding the protection of personal data” and its subsequent amendments and additions.

Any personal information sent to the site will be treated in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data. Any non-personal information communicated to SYENMAINT, the site manager and the blog owner (including suggestions, ideas, drawings, projects, etc.) will give the latter the right to use, reproduce, show, perform, modify, put and distribute said non-personal information. The communication of such information will automatically result in the transfer of the same, free of charge and with the widest rights and powers, to SYENMAINT.

The site offers informative and interactive content. While browsing the site, information about the customer, or more generally about the visitor, can be acquired in the following ways:

A) Navigation data

The website collects technical information relating to the hardware and software used by visitors, independently through the aid of tools for analyzing the link files. This information concerns:

IP address,
browser type,
Internet service provider,
operating system,
domain name and web site addresses from which you have accessed or logged out (referring / exit pages),
information on the pages visited by users within the site,
access time,
permanence on the single page,
internal path analysis (clickstream)
video resolution
connection type
country from which the user connects
presence of java plugins installed

This information does not provide the user’s personal data, but only technical / IT data that are collected and used in an aggregate and anonymous manner for the sole purpose of improving the quality of the service and providing statistics concerning the use of the site. These data are deleted immediately after processing.

B) Data provided by the user

These are cases in which the user himself releases his personal data on the site, after reading detailed information, to access certain services or to forward requests by e-mail. This involves the acquisition by the owner of the site of the sender’s address and / or any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to requests made or for the provision of the requested service. In all cases, before proceeding with the activation of a particular service, appropriate information will be provided and, where necessary, the relative consent to the processing of personal data will be acquired. This consent may later be revoked at any time, making the possibility of using the service in question expire. The storage of the collected data takes place for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which the processing is carried out, namely the activation / management of the requested service.

C) Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that can be stored on your computer while browsing a website, in order to process and identify usage data. The cookie file is usually very small in size and does not contribute to the saturation of the physical space of the hard disk. The cookie is transferred to the user’s disk for registration purposes to “memorize” which areas of a website have been visited. This choice saves time, allowing the user to reach the main parts of a previously visited site faster. There are different types of cookies:

  • permanent, i.e. that remain on the hard disk, even after the browser is closed;
  • temporary session, which are stored only for the duration of the navigation and are deleted from the computer when the browser is closed;
  • third parties, generated by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.

The cookies used by the site owner are a combination of these three types: some are used only for opening and maintaining a session (temporary cookies). In this case, closing the session or the browser will make them unusable both by us and by third parties, even though they remain physically on the PC used (permanent cookies). For purely statistical purposes, third-party cookies are also released, for the measurement of aggregate information. In order to offer a site that meets the expectations and interests of the user, an analysis of the data collected on cookies is constantly carried out; such data indicate solely and anonymously how the site is used, that is, the areas and sections that have been deemed of greatest interest and usefulness for surfers. The user is given the right to set their browser to accept all cookies, only some, or to reject them. We inform you, however, that failure to accept cookies may make it impossible to provide the service in case of access to some areas of the site. We also remind you that at the end of each browsing session, the user can in any case delete both the browsing cache-memory and the cookies collected from their hard drive.

The processing is carried out through automated tools (eg using electronic procedures and media) and / or manually (eg on paper) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in compliance with current legislation on the matter.
